Hi,
Can someone give me insights on this point : When the Sn ruler is conjunct the NN ruler , I read it was sign of a primary lifetime, one that seeds several following ones . I mean more specially than in the other cases . Where can I read learn about this kind of conjunction and the meaning of a primary life ?
My SN co-ruler Jupiter (pisces SN) conjunct Mercury (virgo) in the 12th house Leo. And this placement is always so hard to see clearly what belongs to which lifetime what story is in there....what is the past and what is the futur and how to separate them or work them together. my current lifetime is no joke also, so I was resonating with this primary life meaning...

That is not a ‘sign’ of a primary lifetime. Primary lifetimes are symbolized by Pluto is aspect to Mars. A primary life refers a Soul creating specific evolutionary intentions that are symbolized by the Mars/ Pluto aspect: by house, sign, and aspects to them. Here are some links to the old message board about primary lifetimes:

And this comes from the big book on Evolutionary Astrology, as well as in the second volume of Pluto about relationships:
The Mars Pluto Phase
All of us are aware that we are in a continuous state of becoming throughout life. This awareness is reflected through the archetype of Mars. As stated in Pluto: The Evolutionary Journey of the Soul, the planet Mars directly correlates to how we identify and instinctively act upon the desires that emanate from our Souls. This is why Mars has been considered as a lower octave of Pluto. In essence, Mars correlates to the subjective consciousness at an egocentric level that allows us to be aware of the types of desires that we have. There are two important archetypes to consider within the relationship between Mars and Pluto. One is the specific phasal relationship between Mars and Pluto, and the other in the house and sign that the Mars is within. Let us remember that from 0° to 360° is a complete cycle.
This cycle reflects an evolutionary progression from beginning to end. There are eight primary phases within this cycle, each primary phase measuring 45°. Thus, from 0° to 45° correlates to the New phase. From 45° to 90° correlates to the Crescent phase. From 90° to 135° correlates to the First Quarter phase. From 135° to 180° correlates to the Gibbous phase. From 180° to 225° correlates to the Full phase. From 225° to 270° correlates to the Disseminating phase. From 270° to 315° correlates to the Last Quarter phase. From 315° to 360° correlates to the balsamic phase.
To measure the phasal relationship between Mars and Pluto, simply use Pluto as a starting point, and in a counter-clockwise direction measure the amount of degrees of separation between it and Mars. This will correlate to the phase that exists between Mars and Pluto. This point is very important because the phasal relationship between Mars and Pluto will specifically correlate to how long the core evolutionary and karmic intentions reflected in the natal position of Pluto, its polarity point, and the South and North Nodes with their respective planetary rulers, has been underway.
In general, it takes eight lifetimes to work out or through the specific evolutionary and karmic intentions reflected in the main karmic/evolutionary axis within the birth chart. Thus, since there are eight primary phases, the phasal relationship between Mars and Pluto correlates to how many lives have preceded the current one that we are living relative to those intentions. These are primary lives: life-times in which the core evolutionary and karmic intentions are being directly worked on.
There are also what I call subsidiary lives that occur after a primary life, in which those intentions are worked on indirectly in various ways. Thus, if the Mars/Pluto phase is First Quarter, for example, this would correlate to an individual who had two previous primary lifetimes working on the main karmic and evolutionary axis exhibited within his or her birth chart, the current life being either the third primary life, or a subsidiary life in which this was occurring.
A primary life can be determined when Mars is in one of the following major aspects to Pluto: conjunction, semi-square, square, trine, sesquiquadrate, inconjunct, or opposition. These aspects symbolize evolutionary gates or stations that correlate to the ongoing evolutionary progression of the Soul at every level of its totality. It is also important to understand that any of the aspects that we consider can only have its archetypal meaning understood in the context of the primary phase it exists within.
In the composite chart the Mars and Pluto phase correlates to how the two Souls involved go about actualizing the core evolutionary intentions for the relationship together. And just as an individual Soul can be in a primary life or not so too with the Souls of two people as symbolized in their composite chart.

JWG did not write anything specific that you can read about the planetary rulers of the North and South Nodes being conjunct. He did talk about these in a long workshop on Planetary Nodes that he did in the Netherlands years ago. If you go to the main EA website you will see a list of videos by him that are free to watch. One of them in on the Planetary Nodes.
There is also information on the old mb that discuses various conditions of the planetary rulers of the Lunar Nodes. Here is a quote from on of the postings in that thread:
Ruler of S.Node CONJUNCT Ruler of N Node ?
In this scenario it depends on the nature of the conjunction. If it is balsamic, the ruler of the S.Node balsamic to the ruler of the N.Node, the Soul will feel that it is being blocked or prevented from actualizing new directions for itself: it's evolutionary needs to evolve that will be symbolized by the House and Sign of the N.Node planetary ruler. And that feeling will exist because the Soul has yet to fully culminate or resolve conditions of it's most recent prior lives that are defined by the House and Sign of the planetary ruler. And, that is, indeed, the evolutionary intention of the Soul: to culminate that which must be culminated by way of reliving those prior life conditions in the context of the current life so that it's evolution can proceed. It's creates the typical feeling within the Soul that says ' I have done this before and I feel stuck by it. I want out, I want to do this in a new way'. And yet there are evolutionary and karmic reasons why this condition exist which typically involve necessary understandings and realizations that can only occur because of the need to relive those conditions and the dynamics that have caused those conditions.
If the conjunction is a New Phase one then it means that the Soul has just fulfilled those evolutionary requirements to complete those conditions defined by dynamics from the Soul's past, and is now in a life in which it, the Soul, will bring forwards elements of it's past, the House and Sign of the S.Node and the location of it's planetary ruler, which will be actualized or manifested in brand new or expanded ways. To the Soul this will feel new while at the same time feeling old: ' I have done this before, but in other ways'.
The new ways will be symbolized by not only by the House/Sign of the conjunction of the ruler of both Nodes, and the aspects to it by other planets, by also via the House/Sign of the N.Node itself, and planetary aspects to it. Rad/quote]Thank you for these explanations Rad- I want to clarify for myself that when you refer to a balsamic conjunction of nodal rulers that is determined by the relationship that the faster moving planet makes to the slower moving planet, right? ie: SN in Capricorn, NN in cancer. Saturn at 20 of some sign, moon at 25 of that same sign- this would be a new phase conjunction even though Saturn, as ruler of sn comes before the moon. Is this correct?

Can I ask if you have the current rulers of the north/ south node Mars Venus in balsamic phase... how would this blockage manifest if these planets were in a new phase to Pluto? So would the inherent blockage have to be dealt with in order to initiate the new cycle signified by the Pluto new phase in order to move forward? I'm aware this this due to happen in February 2024 with Pluto just in Aquarius and Venus Mars conjunct in Aquarius also? Thanks
