How would this play out? I read one would "take an evolutionary leap" if you will..? Does this apply to skipped steps, planets conjunct ones natal nodes, etc? If so in what manner?

Hello. On the initial website there were threads that touched on how the sun squaring the nodes meant there are circumstances that can lead to the creation of skipped steps when planets transit said sun squaring the nodes. Can someone elaborate on this topic?
