Hi Rad and everyone,
I recently watched a video with Ari Moshe where he described the Sun/Leo/5th house archetype as being about “too much consciousness” (self-consciousness and self-involvement) which results in us getting in the way of allowing life, Source, etc. to guide us in our experience.
It made me think about the nature of skipped steps, and how the Sun square the nodes in a chart can symbolise the potential formation of a skipped step if the appropriate actions/choices are not taken in the current lifetime.
I wonder, could the Sun conjunct one of the nodes, in respect to what Ari described as “too much consciousness” also be an indicator of skipped step forming, because there is too much self-consciousness and self-involvement with one of the nodal axis in detriment to the other end?
Thank you
Hey there,
First sorry for the delay in approving your post - we've been traveling and are just now returning to computer/internet world.
I'll let Rad respond - but will you also share the video you are speaking about (if it's public?) I'm wondering if what I said was in context to Leo/Sun in general or a specific configuration as I don't want to mislead/confuse anyone.
Hi @Ari Moshe Wolfe thanks for your reply.
I had to do a bit of searching to find where you said it, because it was a few weeks back when I watched the video.
Here is the link for the video: https://youtu.be/DD5-w5VVMSw?si=qjMQEmigF8LDm_eH
At 23:55 you say:
“The teaching I would offer with Aquarius 5th house is you can’t self-actualise and look at yourself at the same time. If there’s too much self-consciousness about it, then there isn’t freedom to experience, just by the seat of your pants, something new that you’ve never done.”
On re-watching I realise that I have focused solely on the reference to the part about “too much self-consciousness“ and then applied it to be about the 5th house in general, rather than specifically about Aquarius in the 5th, sorry!
Misinterpretation aside, I wonder if my question could still be relevant though?
I am curious, too, since I have the Sun on my north node, and I feel at times throughout my life, I have experienced this dynamic, similar to what is described in skipped steps, where I have attempted to “throw off” the south node and move towards the north node without having really integrated the two. I understand that this could also be due to my south node ruler being in the same house and sign as my north node (although not conjunct).
Speaking generally, could aspects like this, e.g. Sun on one of the nodes, or a nodal ruler in the same house/sign as opposite node, symbolise the potential of skipped step dynamics forming, similar to the Sun square the nodal axis?
HI LAS,
Yes, they can symbolize the potential for skipped steps if in fact the Soul does not fully actualize the evolutionary intentions relative to those symbols. If not, then in the next life this will then show up as Sun square the Nodes creating the opportunity to fully actualize the total evolutionary intentions of those symbols.
God Bless, Rad
Thank you Rad
