In the pluto in libra chapter of the pluto book, page 133
“ in this way, they have become dependent on the other to have their needs, desires, ideas, values and beliefs, validated, defined and fulfilled by the other.”
7,9 and 2nd house. This makes a yod, right?
Could you explain why JWG used a natural yod here to explain pluto in libra?
This feels major in chart reading and I want to be able to do the same when I read charts.
Is this something I can do when I read any other house/sign ? Or is it particular here?
In the quote you are asking about in the Pluto book JWG is talking about are the imbalances that can occur in relationships, and for what reasons that they do. He is not specifically talking about the natural Yod that exists between the 7th House, Libra, Venus, and the 2nd House, Taurus, and Venus. He is thus not using this to explain the quote you are asking about. He is talking about the extremes, Libra, 7th House, Venus that can lead to such imbalances. Please read from the start of that chapter to and through the paragraph that you are citing to understand the basis of what he is talking about.
The underlying cause in the imbalance of the extreme that he is talking about that does correlate to the 2nd House, Taurus, and Venus which is the co-ruler of Libra and Taurus, is a total state of dependency on another vs the need in all Souls to become self reliant, and to actualize their own needs.
God Bless, Rad
I see. I got confused when he said “needs, desires, ideas, values and beliefs”
Do all of these things belong to the libra archetype? I thought beliefs were 9th house.
Through those words I thought maybe there could be a natural yod between houses 7,9,2. This yod would be the reason that needs, desires, ideas, values and beliefs would manifest. Kind of like when JWG was explaining archetypes in the beginning DVDS and using natural squares.
