Pluto book

I’m going through the chart practice rad sent. I’m reading 7th house libra.

Question: it says the individual has been learning objective awareness. Is this because it’s evolving from Virgo and this is a Virgo trait? Having self actualized in Leo and then going through humbling experiences (w the help of the analytical mind) the individual begins to reasses itself objectively ?

I’m asking because I thought objective awareness was more Aquarian. But now that I’m digesting this text I can totally see that it could be Virgo.

Also, as a beginner astrologer, I’m finding myself stuck in beginner things and I don’t want to look to “cookbooks” for possibly false information. I’m loving this and the old forum and I noticed a text rad posted about a book for more foundational astro info “ a handbook for the humanistic astrologer by michael Meyer”

Would you recommend this for me?

If there’s anywhere else to get more beginner astrology to help me be able to read a chart I would really appreciate it so I don’t have to keep asking beginner questions. I just really want to get better at this. I really love it and I think I can be great at it. I relate a lot with needing the ultimate “why” answered, get down to the root and work my way back up (in EA astro)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, and then relative to the Libra, 7th House, Venus archetype the Soul is learning through listening to other humans their reality as it exists for them. This listening to others then teaches the Soul how to understand objectively the reality of other people, and thus themselves. A related archetype is learning to give to others vs what others can give to the Soul. To give to another they actually need requires the Soul to understand others objectively. In this way the Soul is then also learning how to inwardly listen to itself in order to understand who it is objectively in order to receive from others what it needs.

Aquarius is indeed an archetype of objectivity that is totally actualized. It is totally actualized relative to the totality of reality in general, and individual reality specifically. This process begins in Libra wherein Libra is part of the natural triad, trinity, of Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini.

In my opinion this book is the very best of all books to understand the fundamentals of astrology in general. Everything that you or others would need as a beginning astrologer in in that book: everything.

One of the problems that so many have in the beginning of learning astrology is reading to much because of the all the books about astrology. Most of these books themselves are writing by people who have memorized that which they have learned from what they have read themselves. Most of what has been writing in astrology is what JWG called descriptive astrology: simply describing something.

Evolutionary astrology is about the WHY of anything. Meyer's book is also about the why of fundamentals of astrology itself. It is all you would really need to read in order to understand those fundamentals, and not waste your time with of written astrology which is, again, descriptive. One of the things JWG used to say about folks wanting to learn EA, the ones who have read to much of descriptive astrology, is how much he had to help them unlearn what they thought they knew in order to understand EA itself.

Your desire to learn EA will, and the knowing of the why of anything that it provides, will allow you to be the best astrologer that you can be.

This course is helping me so much understand life and people.. helping me be a better person by actually giving me tools and understanding of how to example listen better as in your explanation. Instead of societal etiquette one just has to remember.

Side note about characteristics of libra.

I’ve been observing that Aquarius mercuries have a lot of trouble truly listening like you stated above. I thought it was an Aquarius sun trait but upon further investigation I realized it was Aquarius mercury as the aquarians that didn’t have issues venus-listening had mercuries in Capricorn. Upon asking, one aquarius mercury told me that they didn’t “internalize” what was said.

I found that so interesting!

And what you wrote above makes everything make more sense.

In French there’s ecouter and entendre and even though in English we have the same, I find the meaning doesn’t translate well enough.

One thing that I found personally was the importance of mercury compatibility. It feels so important and I don’t find much emphasis on it. But I think JWG (in an earlier dvd) said that compatibility of friendships has a lot to do with thinking alike.

Is that how all triads works, all have evolving archetypes that actualize in the last one? Like emotions I guess would begin the process in cancer and actualize in Pisces?

All triads have their own archetypes like Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius in which an underlying archetype like objectivity manifests. Objectivity as an archetype correlates to Aquarius, Uranus, and the 11th House yet is expressed through the signs and houses that are part of the triad upon which it is naturally connected.

The objectivity of Gemini, third house, Mercury occurs in all the archetypes that are specific to them. So, for example, why am i thinking what i am thinking. Libra, 7th house, Venus, for example beyond the one we mentioned before, ‘why am I attracted to so and so’. Aquarius, the 11th House, and Uranus correlates to the objectivity as an archetype in general thus the totality of this archetype as it detaches, Aquarius, etc, from anything, any phenomena , any thought, any emotion, etc in order to try to understand the actual reality or truth of that which it is detaching from. In the 11th house specifically, this could manifest for example as why do I have this friend, or why do i feel so isolated in my environment, etc.

Again, each sign, house, and the planets that rule them have their own natural archetypes. Emotions as an archetype correlate with Cancer, the 4th house, and the Moon. The total triad of course involves Scorpio, Pluto, the 8th House, and Pisces, Neptune, and the 12th House. Thus the emotions that are ignited in the Soul in total correlate to the specific nature of the archetypes that are specific to the three different signs, houses, and the planetary rulers of each.

Pluto has begun its transit into Aquarius now. Humanity as an archetype correlates to Aquarius, Uranus, the 11th house. This is a time then for all of us as Souls to inwardly detach in order to understand the nature of the reality that we are all collectively, Neptune, living as created by all the diverse Souls that exist now. It is essential that we detach in order to understand objectively the causes of what we have created. Chief among this is the obvious climate, crisis that is sadly accelerating.

Aquarius, the 11th house, and Uranus correlates to the climate on our planet. The affects of this climate crisis is and well be affecting every human being on the planet. In understanding the causes humans then need to unite as one group, humanity, in order to take the corrective decisions that are needed in order to change the course of this climate crisis that is underway.
