Does anyone here have experience working with Sedna from an evolutionary perspective? Any recommendations for best resources to learn more?

Hi Jen,
I am not an expert on Sedna, and I if I'm not mistaken, Rose Marcus is an astrologer who uses Sedna but don't know if there is any source material.
Nonetheless as an asteroid deeply related to the natural feminine I have a great admiration for her and I have looked at it and I personally feel it is deeply related with Neptune, the sea and sea animals and Nature. I see it as a dormant life force. And as a life force it cannot be dormant forever, so as the the feminine polarity will become ever more balanced I see her coming back as a symbol of our relationship with the ocean. She is seen as the provider from the sea and one who holds any giving to those who disrespect her by entangling them with her her. What a symbol of femininity, because if we look at culturally cutting and shaving of the hair (If I'm not mistaken hair is ruled by pluto in EA) we always see at best a yang gesture or something like the cutting from emotion as in the military. So I think is an amazing symbol of the survival of the feminine even if that means having to stay dormant at the sea. It's not lost.
There was a very important exhibit recently in the British Museum called "Feminine Power" where Sedna was portrayed in the section called "Creation and Nature" I leave to photos bellow with more information on that. They are not very good photos but hopefully add something.
She has a very sad story of being betrayed by her father in a very cruel way - as she didn't want to get married to provide for her family (which meant in reality refusing being a treated as commodity) he threw her out of the boat not to anger the gods and when she clinged to the border of the boat he chopped her fingers. Imagine what a cruel thing because this has meant that he also cut her every ability to make and do for herself above the ocean, so her only option was to lay down at the sea with the sea creatures as friendly company. So in essence this to me points to a wound so deep it is necessary to retreat for a while in the caring realms of Neptune maybe, that at some point provide the healing and restoration of powers to comeback from a frozen state to a most important provider.
Hope it helps,
Helena
P.S. Oh and I just realised that of course this is where the idea of the mermaid comes from in the collective unconscious/consciousness. Quite amazing!
Thanks for all the information. It’s helpful to me as I had not heard of Sedna at all until coming across a Substack post on her June 13th. I’m going to post links to some other things I’ve found on Sedna, in case anyone wants to go further. I don’t have more to say at this point as I am still making meaning out of my natal Sedna, whose position has been more revelatory to me than anything else in my own chart.
First a book. It is academic; I've borrowed it from my state university library.
