Past Life Recall

Hi Rad and All,

I was reading the Neptune book by JWG and in it he talks about how it usually isn't until the 3rd stage of Spiritual that a Soul would start to recall memories of prior lifetimes that are pertinent to the present life. He did also mention that some other souls at different stages of evolution would be able to but that it is very limited and for different reasons.

Can you speak to what some of the reasons would be as to why a Soul at a different stage of evolution would be able to recall some of their prior lifetimes? Also, could or would this be a bit distabilizing to the consciousnes itself if not at the third stage of Spiritual?

HI Jordyn,

The main reason why a Soul will remember another life if not in the 3rd stage spiritual is because of that life correlating to some intense trauma that can not be let go of: resolved. Typically when a Soul transitions from one life to the next a fundamental injunction is given to all Souls upon the beginning of that transition: right after the passing. At the injunction is 'don't look back'.

All Souls upon transition do in fact see the many scenes of that life being transitioned from in order to review it such a way to learn from it: the ongoing evolutionary imperative to keep evolving requires this. Once this review is done, this happens very, very quickly, then the next thing a Soul hears is 'don't look back'. The reason for that is again the evolutionary imperative to evolve: to keep moving forwards, not backwords.

Of itself this injunction is the main reasons why most Souls do not remember their past lives: at least in any great detail. When Souls experience some intense trauma that they can not let go of, to resolve in any way, they can then have that past life memory triggered in some way in the next life. This happens in order find a way to resolve that trauma so that the ongoing evoluition of the Soul continues.

Thank you so much. I watched that youtube. It brought tears to my eyes. It makes me think about Uranus and Saturn for that Soul. The trauma endured on physical, emotional, and psychological levels that were being held within and needed to errupt to gain objectivity and liberation. Saturn so much reflects to me the saying 'the chains that bind you'. This young man definitely was able to liberate from those. Then the Uranian function of liberating from ( borrowing JWG's words) 'the skins of the past that have been over identified with', even correlating to the trauma. Wow. I have a feeling his chart reflects that, especially with Uranus correlating to long-term memory and trauma.

As an edit** can suppressed memories errupt for souls when they haven't been able to let go and the same dynamics keep resurfacing? To me this would be very Capricorn/Saturn with Uranus. Depending on how it could correlate to Neptune (like the soul you shared, who had dreams).

I have clients tell me about past lives and yet they are not in the 3rd stage spiritual but they tend to be of the Pluto in Scorpio generation with a strong Uranus/Saturn dynamic going on. Some of them, it feels true and the archetypes speak to that because of what you stated "they can't let go". For others it seems like a delusion.

Also- as a counseling astrologer how do we handle that? Specific to it being a delusion. How do we still validate? Some of them have had experiences on ayahausca (not sure about spelling here) or Sapo. I know that this is plant and animal medicine, but some of their past life recalls seem to be fragmented, just upon observation. Truth mixed with a bit of delusion.

As an EA astrologer the best thing to do, unless you or any other EA astrologer has the natural capacity to actually 'see' another's prior lives, is to focus on the EA dynamics in any given chart that correlate with the Soul's past that has lead into the current life that then explains what the currenl life evolutionary and karmic intentions are.

So when a client says something about 'seeing' this or that past life simply bring it back to those evolutionary dynamics.
