Chariklo: Asteroid of Spiritual Medicine

I looked at the pdf that Melanie Reinhart did in that article where she lists stations, mutual aspects with Pluto etc for 2018 to 2019. So to give you some examples of that time--which was a very momentous time for me. Where my life turned upside down as I often refer to.

First part of 2018 as Chiron made its Return (10th h), I worked the hardest that I can ever remember. I was a fairly "new" supervisor installing new equipment at the hospital lab where I had worked for years. So much work, so little time. It was exhausting. And I realized my homelife was not what it should be but I was quite busy and didn't have much time for anything more.

The astrology of that time had a lot happening. (Not that I noticed then). Pluto was in my 7th house squaring my natal nodes (4th SN and 10th NN) Chariklo was in the 7th conjunct Pluto (with Saturn starting its entry on DSC) It subsided some in late 2018/early 2019 but by mid 2019 things were in motion--no looking back! Chariklo was still in the 7th conjunct Pluto and Saturn--all squaring natal nodes. Plus transiting nodes ( Cancer NN/Cap SN) in my 1st/7th house approaching the ASC/DSC.

I realize now that the outer workings of these transits, symbolize the development of not only skill in life management but in self confidence--in work life and home. Those times made it definitively clear of what needed to be done and to DO IT.

As the Sun opposed Saturn, Chariko, Pluto in the summer of 2019 my marriage was over. But really it had been long overdue. Something I had just put off.

However at work my role of supervisor expanded. I gained extra depts as Saturn, Pluto, Sun, and Chariklo were conjunct Jan 2020.

And then of course the pandemic arrived. Like a lot of people, I was pushed to go beyond normal boundaries/limitations where I really had to dig in and hold my ground so to speak. For a while in health care it was crazy how busy we were. And in the beginning we had no idea about anything. In May 2020 as Saturn and Chariklo turned retrograde, we were having our first major "outbreak" in our area. And of course we were one of the first. Something me and my colleagues will never ever forget. We worked oodles of extra hours at that time to deal with the workload for covid sampling and testing. All kinds of staff working all through the day and evening. We went into emergency mode and organized ourselves to deal with things-managing supplies, staffing, transport, reporting --you name it, we did it.. It was on the fly, dealing with stuff...Problems coming up because you'd hadn't seen it coming. You couldn't, it was all new.

Interestingly enough, when Saturn, Chariklo and Pluto turned direct Sep Oct 2020, I felt more "truly" in the role of supervisor for the new depts I had taken on in Jan earlier of that year. (Because it had been new and I was probably too squeamish, I couldn't really figure out how to handle it or the people exactly when I first started. ) But by the fall of 2020, I had a pretty good idea.

So in going down memory lane, I think those years represented finding the courage to do what I needed to do. I learned I could do "it".

It also shaped a new philosophy of--No excuses allowed because I knew better. It's become about living without regret. Live the life you are meant to live. One step at a time. By the Grace of God

I cannot think of a better example of the 'grace of God' via Chariklos considering her placement in your chart.

Honestly in awe - thank you so much for sharing this - the positive archetype of Capricorn is so clear as well as the 'darkness' (the dark side of Cap/Saturn/Society) of Covid that brought out the lessons - & the opportunity to embody that grace & the grace you shared with others in such a difficult time

Much of what you say does exemplify the cardinal axis - I was thinking how Aries/Mars can facilitate Cap/10th to simply: DO IT - with authority versus selfishness, to help versus to further one's self only.....but you can see the whole cardinal axis - the doing, being, sharing, completion (Saturn as Form itself) in that nodal axis & houses.
