When considering the "Skipped Steps" by having planet(s) squaring the nodal axis, would this also apply to any of the angles squaring the nodal axis? (For example: ASC/DSC squaring the nodal axis or MC/IC squaring the nodal axis. If it does apply, would it be correct to use the ruling planets of that axis as the basis for interpretation after determining which is the resolution node?

Hi astrologybynatasha,
On the old message board and in the EA glossary Rad answered this question, here is the excerpt from the EA glossary:
"The MC, IC, AC and DC are CURRENT LIFE SYMBOLS DETERMINED BY THE MOMENT OF BIRTH that correlate to the current evolutionary intentions of the Soul. Thus, when the Nodes square any of these points, there is a specific evolutionary reason for that. And if those reasons are not fulfilled THEN it will correlate to SKIPPED STEPS IN THE NEXT LIFE. So, for example, if this were the Nodes squaring the MC-IC axis this could show up in the next life as the Nodes squaring Saturn and/or the Moon. - Rad"
Hope this helps.
Much Love,
Jordyn
Additional doubt pertaining to my original question: Since the ASC rules 1st house ,and DSC rules 7th, should we also consider those houses in evaluating reasons? (and any planets within as well?) Or should the focus just be on the planetary rules of the signs on the axis?
Thank you for all your clarification on the angles squaring the nodes.
