Hi Ethan, Thank you so much for being willing and ready to post a chart example. I am posting my feedback for you below. I am putting everything in the context of a 3rd stage individuated Soul moving into 1st. :) I am also giving a VERY generalized explanation. I would actually need to know how this person identified (male/female/non-binary). What is their background, the conditioning factors. If you would like to respond and give more context after this that would be helpful. EA is a science of observation and correlation. For the time being here is a generalized overview until you give more context. Pluto in Sag, 11th House  The desire of the soul is to actualise on a cosmological, spiritual level. In past lives, this was taking place in groups of people that limited individual curiosity of the soul. In current life, this may manifest as people putting dogma on the person, and thus creating a deep need to break free of conditioning. This can manifest in difficulties with social life, feeling the pressure to fit in versus stand out, and seeing one’s belief systems as a threat to mainstream society. Thus there is a tendency to feel like an outsider and an evolutionary purpose of learning to take up space with regards to one’s own unique thoughts, ideas, and opinions (Polarity: Gemini in the 5th).  Venus is also conjunct that Pluto and balsamic, with Chiron in a new phase to Pluto. This is a strong signature. With Pluto in the 11th house this is a Soul who in their prior life was learning lessons around needing to throw off any type of conditioning that was over identified with. The 11th house is where we are liberating from Saturnian conditioning. The 11th house and Uranus also is the archetype of trauma, community, friendship, and extended family. This was a Soul who in the past was learning Soul lessons around needing to liberate from where it over identified with conditioned beliefs(Sagittarius) of the group (11th). With Venus balsamic to Pluto and conjunct, there were lessons around being over identified with the relationships within the group/friends/community in which this soul became dependent on. Mars in Pisces/2nd is square to Venus, Pluto, and Chiron. This Soul experienced mental (11th house) and emotional (Pluto) trauma through the experience of becoming disillusioned (Mars in Pisces) within the group. This came through the form of their projected beliefs and messages (Jupiter in the 3rd) about this Soul that were harmful and taken in as truth. This created a deep wound around their own authenticity, and you are right, it appears without you giving context that this Soul felt alienated for being very different from the community in which they were in. In order for this Soul to liberate from these dynamics it would need to be confronted (Pluto) with the actual truth (Pisces). Venus is also the ruler of his 4th house cusp. This reflects that their self-worth came from the relationships within the group they were part of. How that was a part of the over identification of getting emotional needs met through the group, yet needing to nurture that from within and relate to themself differently. With Mars in Pisces this also reflects the need to act on the desires to nurture themself from within and through Source. Not external sources that this Soul has given ultimate meaning to in the past (the group). South Node in Aquarius, 1st House This is a signature that shows the soul’s ego developed a psychology of going at things alone. The outcast is felt here significantly, and one keeps their intelligence, beliefs, and philosophies, almost exclusively to themselves. Because the South node is also conjunct Uranus and Neptune, this has implications. The soul’s ego could be significantly shaped by traumatic, unexpected events (Uranus) arising from suppressed individuality, that also feeds a tendency to need to escape or live in one’s own world (Neptune). Early in life, the soul’s idea of who it is and what it needs will correlate to the need to break free from the limitations it feels to it’s individuality, which may be reinforced by the tendency to self-isolate (Neptune) or repress (Uranus).  With the SN conjunct Neptune, the ruler of Mars which is square the 11th house placements, this further emphasizes how this Soul was needing to initiate (1st house) a new evolutionary cycle in the past of breaking free (Aquarius) from the group. The way the soul desired to do so was through disillusionment (Neptune/Pisces/12th). This is also interesting because Neptune is on the SN. This would indicate that this soul would then relive some of the same key dynamics of the past where it experienced disillusionment in order to 1: evolve through the emotional body. This is because it wasn't fully dealt with. 2: To culminate these dynamics (there is a lot of balsamic energy in this chart) so that this person could break new ground and start a new evolutionary cycle. 3: Learn discernment around who should and shouldn't be a part of their life. 4: act on the desires to tap into the higher octave of Venus in order to listen from within and connect with Source. Neptune and the SN are also square to Saturn in the 3rd. This Soul has been attempting to break free of the past (sn/aquar/1) and through self-actualizing their sense of authority as a way to empower itself through relationships as an equal (nn/Leo/7th). The skipped step (sn the resolution) reflects how this Soul went into hiding in the past because of the traumatic experiences that were mentioned above. Saturn also rules the Sun/Mercury (12th) and the Moon (1). The Sun and Mercury in the 12th, along with Neptune on the SN and ruling Mars reflects how this type of trauma from the past created a need to reflect (Capricorn) but also how this Soul started hiding. Neptune, Pisces, and the 12th can be a hiding signature. This is helping them to learn new ways of inwardly relating to themself in order to create a new structure. Breaking free of the old messages(Mercury/3rd) this Soul took in that effected it's sense of self worth and how they inwardly related (Taurus). This is also why this Soul re-experienced some of these same core wounds in this lifetime. To wrap this whole cycle up and learn to empower itself from the inside out (t-square) through its own unique individuality as a co creative function of Source. South Node Ruler in Aquarius, 1st House  The ego is once again likely conditioned by a traumatic event buried deep within the personal unconscious. The connection to the 11th house and Pluto implies this had to do with burying something in order to fit into a larger collectively held cosmological, spiritual view of reality. The individual brilliance is deeply felt but also puts one deeply on the outside. There may be shocks and unexpected turns, thus, in regards to relationships (7th house polarity). Ultimately, the way the soul will integrate this is through a process of creative distillment and self actualisation (Leo polarity).  Yes and the mode of operation is to break free from the past, including the trauma and blaze their own trail. Being a group of one if necessary! Moon in Capricorn, 1st House  The soul will be integrating these lessons through an emotional body that at times could feel rigid, denied, or suppressed. In 1st house ways, this soul be constantly initiating new experiences that allow it to discover the fullness of their emotional body. Because Saturn is in the third house, friendships and community could play a major role in triggering emotional experiences that cause the soul to push away from others, retreat into itself, and initiate new experiences. This is ultimately so the soul can build self-intimacy and know itself as a reliable inner authority. The goal here is to mainly become a self-sufficient independent authority removed from reliance or approval of others, and became actualised as an independent entity.  This reflects needing to nurture themself through regaining a sense of personal authority. "I can make correct judgment calls". This would be done through re-structuring their life with integrity, the outside reflecting the inside. Jupiter is also square the Moon in a last quarter phase. This Soul is meant to throw off the past wholesale. The beliefs (Jupiter) and messages (3rd house) that affected their sense of inner authority (Moon in Capricorn). Then to also regain a personal voice of authority (Saturn in the 3rd) and Mercury in Capricorn conjunct the Sun. North Node in Leo, 7th House  The future ego will be shaped and fuelled by a desire to know oneself on a creative actualised level. All traumas and suppression of the past must find a way to be transmuted into a pride in oneself and what one has been through. Specifically, the ego is looking to engage others or the public in some way. There is a deep desire to need to be seen here, and a potential talent for seeing others. This ultimately comes down to feeling oneself safe in their individuality, within relationships, and respecting others individuality as well. The shadow side to this is falling into the trap of people-pleasing, suppressing (Aquarius polarity) in order to gain attention or admiration (Leo polarity).  This Soul as it resolves the past (skipped step mentioned above) will then be able to naturally integrate the NN. Entering into society and relationships KNOWING they are an equal (7th) and with dignity. Self-actualizing a creative purpose (Leo) and role within society that has the potential to help the consensus to evolve. This would also mean that the Soul would need to listen to the guidance of how it is being inwardly directed through Source in order to serve a specific function within society on behalf of Source. The 6th house polarity of the Sun(ruler of the nn). North Node Ruler in Capricorn, 12th House  The ego is being conditioned to establish a structure or routine that supports it’s ongoing realisation of it’s connection with ultimate creation. Whatever the soul implants in Leonian way will be conditioned by a structure within oneself but ultimately not OF oneself: they must place their faith in a higher cosmological order they can deeply sense (Capricorn in the 12th) and express themselves creatively in a way that shows themselves and others back to the Source. The challenge here could be feeling creatively powerless in the vast sea of infinite creation (Sun in the 12th) and thus struggling to individuate away from the Source while still harkening back to it. In order to do this, the soul is learning to align Itself with an inner authority that maintains its connection to Source and its sharing out in the world. They will feel at many times in their life called within to establish this inner authority for themselves, to support the ongoing evolutionary goal of actualising their unique views through a creative platform and breaking free from social conditioning that once suppressed or negated their beliefs.  The North Node would be facilitated through the Sun and Mercury (conjunct) by using their own personal voice of authority for creative expression which is a co creative process with Source. This would nurture and continue to heal (12th) this Soul. This would also help culminate the past cycle of hiding and repressing their self stemming from the past trauma. This Soul would utilize its innate wisdom (Capricorn) in a unique and individualistic way to help society move forwards. This would be done through sharing their wisdom that has been hard earned (7th house/Sun in Capricorn). It would also help facilitate this Soul learning about self determination (Capricorn) to not make the past choices they once did. This would also mean that this soul would need to take accountability for those choices. This would also help with surrendering from past dynamics. Forgiving others. PPP in Gemini, 5th House  The soul will have to learn Gemini lessons around communication as they apply to the 5th House area of life, which means they will need to find a platform in which to express their ideas that is creative, youthful, or intrinsically authentic to them in some way. The mind is looking to liberate itself from past constraints by being applied to something beautiful that gives oneself back to their inner child.  NN, Sun and Mercury would all facilitate the process of creative self-actualization (5th house) through the soul recovering their own unique and personal voice of authority. It would also help them to bring their unique gifts into the world instead of continuing to hide and mark time (Capricorn/12). This would then help this Soul to continue to learn more about itself, in turn this would heal their inner relationship to self through only having a dependence upon themself and Source. This soul would then change their inner vibration and attract new types of friends and community. Ethan, I hope this helps you! You did a great job and hopefully I filled in some gaps. EA is vast and deep. This includes the archetypes. It is why we are all attracted to it when we are wanting to evolve. The more you do chart interpretation and practice, just like you were willing to do here, the more you learn. Great job! with love, Jordyn PS If you have questions about any of the aspects, let me know. One that also stands out to me that I didn't mention is the trine from Saturn to the Sun and Mercury. I also want to say that the strong Sagittarius dynamic in the 11th ruled by Jupiter in the 3rd square the Capricorn/12 placements strongly suggests that this Soul needs to be absolutely honest with themself about their actual reality. To make sure that they don’t overcompensate (Sag/Jupiter). To liberate from that if they are overcompensating. That they have the courage to express (3/mercury) themself authentically and honestly. That is a huge part of healing for this Soul. There is much more I could say about this particular chart but don’t want to overwhelm with too much information.

Hi Jordan, Great analysis! I appreciate your effort and your willingness to share this. I want to reiterate some of the signatures that you did great on speaking about in this chart. A couple of thoughts I have for this is that the lunar nn is in the second house and speaks to the fire happening on the land (2nd) and is also reflected in Mars in Leo/6th ruling the nn. Mars is also opposing Pluto in the 12th as you mentioned. The elitist desires (Mars in Leo rx) that need to be thrown off because of them perpetuating crisis. The opposition speaks to yes, the atmospheric changes, especially dealing with the wind (Pluto sextile to the nn) and how the over identification with patriarchal values (Uranus in Taurus ruling Pluto in the 12th with Capricorn on the cusp) and thinking is perpetuating crisis and trauma for the community (Aquarius) and the land (Taurus). The sn in Libra in the 8th is reflecting the extremes that are occurring because of how resources are not being shared equitably. This stems from how the people and government systems are at odds with how they relate to each other and how they share and give. This is actually being used as a catalytic event in order to confront (8th house). Venus in Pisces ruling that in the 1st is indicative of this new cycle of dissolving these dynamics of how we value and how we share and whether or not it is equitable, this is action is created through the disillusioning experience of loss. Including how we give and receive with Gaia (Venus ruling Uranus). Ceres in Aquarius ruled by Uranus in Taurus also speaks to the loss of community including animal life through these traumatic events, stemming from how we utilize the Taurus resources. The need to liberate (Capricorn on the 11th) from how the patriarchy relates to humanity and the conditioning factors that perpetuate crisis. With Capricorn on the 12th this doubles down on the need to dissolve the old structures within the collective conscious in order to restructure society in a way that is in alignment with equal sharing and giving, even to Gaia, and rooted in timeless and universal principles. I also see the 12th house/ Aquarius energy in tandem with the Pisces/1st house energy speaking to how communities when naturally expressed don't have patriarchal boundaries. Meaning, we have seen an immense amount of people from different communities come together despite race or background to help serve in a cause. This brings in the Virgo polarity energy in the 7th which projecting the natural law of giving, sharing, and inclusion that was sparked through the Virgo crisis. Jupiter in Gemini square Saturn in Pisces speaks to how those from different cultures and countries have traveled to create action in order to help and heal. This is more a natural expression of this square, whereas I also see how lies being communicated about this are needing to be dissolved. These lies are perpetuated by dishonest leadership that is communicating for their own benefit and security (Jupiter in Gemini rx in the 4th ruled by Mercury in Sagittarius in the 10th). This is also seen with Saturn in a gibbous bi-quintile to Mars. The need to improve upon healing from the heart through dissolving the patriarchal structures rooted in exclusivity. The absolute need to improve upon our leadership. The only other thing I would add is that we need to remember that 70% of the population is consensus and is not going to spiritualize through this, but it does have the potential to accelerate (Aquarius) the collective growth. Again, thank you for posting a chart, giving your reflections, and your analysis. This is what EA is all about! with love and gratitude, Jordyn

Hi Dominikas, There is a book titled "Essays in Evolutionary Astrology" where in the chapter "The Planetary Method of Evolutionary Chart Analysis" goes over the questions you are asking. That chapter is an old JWG lecture he gave. That is where I would start, if you don't already have this book. Here is a little from that chapter in the book regarding the Sun: " ....the Sun specifically correlates to how we are integrating and giving purpose and meaning to our current life experience. So in essence we are describing an evolutionary transition in our A B list (Pluto, the lunar sn, its ruler, the moon, and the lunar nn and its ruler, along with the PPP), an evolutionary transition from past to the current life. The Sun is now going to show you how that is integrated and given purpose and meaning in the context of the current life". -JWG The Sun is a filter for the chart, every experience that you have will be filtered through that Sun in order to actualize the bottom line of your or anyone's chart. As an example, I have the Moon in Libra in the 6th and a Sun in Capricorn in the 9th. Every emotional experience I have had that has been extreme (Moon in Libra) or that has been about improving upon these extremes (Moon in the 6th) has been filtered through my Sun in Capricorn in the 9th. Essentially, I have been actualizing my chart through becoming my own authority and reconnecting with my authenticity and personal truths (Sun in Capricorn/9th) and have learned how to do so through the extreme experiences of abandoning myself in the past (Libra Moon in the 6th). This is to just give you a little bit of an idea of how the Moon and Sun work within the Pluto Paradigm without going into my whole chart, as that is not part of the rules on the message board. Hopefully that simple example helps though. Maybe utilize a chart of a well-known person on this thread so that you can practice chart interpretation and receive feedback so you can expand on your understanding. That way it's more tangible and it also gives others an opportunity to learn from it. Much Love, Jordyn

Hi Lou, I agree with what everyone has said. I will say, Rad made an excellent point. For me, personally, understanding the archetypes of each sign were paramount. Once there is a foundation for understanding the sign's archetypes it just continues to expand from there. What really helped me besides the old message board and the Pluto books, was the correspondence DVD's. I immersed myself in them and took notes and then correlated to charts of others. In the correspondence DVD's JWG goes over the archetypes. I also want to say that in my experience the first thing I started seeing in charts was repeating themes. Once I started to understand the archetypes the repeating themes started to tell a story of that person's chart. The "story" would then be validated through that person talking about something or me asking them questions. That gave me the direct experience of observing the archetypes. I don't think any one of us is going to ever know everything about astrology, that's kind of the beauty of it. It keeps us always striving to learn and understand more deeply. One of my favorite things to do is to go back and re-read the Pluto books and old message boards. To also go back and rewatch different sections of the correspondence DVD's. I learn something new each time! That and just talking to other astrologers and what I call "nerding out" on charts. That way you hear other's perspectives about the archetypes and it broadens your own understanding of them. Lastly, just doing charts is helpful. It creates action and from that you get feedback. That feedback deepens your understanding of the archetypes. At some point knowledge whether its reading or watching needs to be put in action in order to have the direct experience of it. Let us know if there is anything we can help you with. Much Love and Blessings, Jordyn
