Hi Jordyn and all,
I also think it is a great idea to continue the transit thread, and of course have gained many insights from what has been shared! To add to what has been has been discussed, in my view the recent Venus square to the nodal axis also reflects the intention to recover a skipped step relative to what Jordyn wrote about the need to meet our own need from within ourselves first instead of relying on or manipulating others to do so.
A planet square the nodal axis indicates a “flip flopping” between manifesting our inner resources to cultivating reliance as seen by the North Node in Taurus, and then reverting back to old habitual patterns of the past symbolized by the South Node in Scorpio. This “flip flopping” has created a skipped step which now must be recovered. This will be experienced for the duration or time frame of the transit. Of course, how we are personally experiencing this is relative to the natal chart.
In the context of the South Node in Scorpio the need is to de-invest in what has become stagnant, limited, and is creating a situation of non-growth. In so doing, the Soul can deepen its inner relationship with itself as to facilitate its own ongoing evolution and personal growth. This is signified by the Venus square the nodal axis. With the North Node in Taurus conjunct Uranus, and Venus in the sign of Aquarius, the Soul’s inner relationship will be “radically altered” as it learns to rely on itself first, and simplifies the overall lifestyle by focusing on only what has true meaning and value at the present time.
The key to recovering skipped steps is consistency. This will be developed through the resolution node which is the node that last formed a conjunction to the planet square the nodes. In the context of the recent Venus square to the nodal axis the resolution node is the South Node in Scorpio. This becomes the “bottom line” of how the Soul will integrate and recover the skipped steps. The South Node in Scorpio reflects that as the Soul deepens itself in the ways already described and commits to personal growth limitations of the past are transmuted. The Soul can then “merge” or unite with others in relationships in a non-manipulative way. In so doing, relationships can be used to promote necessary and positive growth for both people as they encourage one another to be free from unnecessary limitations, and chose to commit to relationships of mutual self- reliance.
Namaste,
Deva
