Hello friends!
I wanted to ask a question about Jupiter/Mercury phase in relation to what JWG taught in the course to make sure I am understanding correctly.
From the new phase conjunction up until the opposition, Mercury is separating from Jupiter & from the opposition to the balsamic conjunction, Mercury is applying to Jupiter.
Do we assume that as Mercury is separating from Jupiter, the person is more inclined to a "left brain/logical" nature, and when Mercury is applying to Jupiter, they are more inclined to a "right brain/intuitive" nature? I just want to make sure I understand it correctly.
I think looking at the whole chart would be the obvious way to come to that conclusion (i.e. If the person has a new phase Jup/Mer but if the person has a 9th house Pluto, a highly asected Jupiter, or alot of planets in the 9th or in Sag-- maybe that can sway the person to be more right brain/intuitive in nature)--
But want to make sure in general, that the above would be the correct way to interpret that Jupiter/Mercury pair in relation to right vs left brain functions
Thank you for the thoughts and confirmation!
Hi Natasha, I think that link LAS offered answers well, and I'll add one more point to clarify this which I think Rad addressed to:
No. The phase between the two planets alone wouldn't indicate if a person is more left brain or right brain oriented. This would be described by the archetypes of the plantes (i.e. where they are located and the aspects they make with other planets). The phase between the two planets simply indicate how they planets are evolving relative to one another; the phase of development intended for this life.
So for example, a new phase with Mercury and Jupiter would naturally indicate the need to be processing new information and integrating it on an intuitive level, but this says nothing about the nautre of the person them self; i.e. if they are more right or left brain oriented.
