Hi everyone,
I was trying to find the archetypal meaning for the transit event: Transiting South Node conjunct natal North Node, which would of course imply transiting North Node conjunct natal South Node.
In the following thread I found, Rad commented:

"When the transiting N.Node conjuncts the natal S.Node this correlates to a time in which the Soul recreates old, existing, dynamics that are no longer needed for it's ongoing evolutionary journey to continue. In recreating those dynamics through inner and outer circumstances the Soul is intending to make new choices relative to those existing dynamics so that evolution can proceed. If those new choices are not made then the Soul begins to mark time relative to it's ongoing evolutionary journey relative to those existing dynamics that are sustained."
I understand what is said about transiting N.Node conjunct natal S.Node-- but how will this play out or be experienced with simultaneously having the transiting South Node conjunct the natal North Node?
If there are any other forum links, or thoughts to share, it will be very much appreciated. Thank you!
Hi Natasha,
Sorry for the delay in no one responding to this question. Here's my intuitive understanding and experinece of this transit:
The transiting SN always points to karmic dynamics from the past coming up right now to be integrated - be them fruitive dynamics or relive to resolve. When the transiting SN is conjunct the NN these same dynamics will be manifesting relative to the NN.
The NN symbolises the soul's desire for ongoing NEW experience to facilitate their ongoing evolution. So the transiting SN on the NN can bring up whatever seeds have been set in motion relative to the soul's ongoing evolutionary growth needs. This can be very challenging or it can feel like new and positive growth.
Reflecting on the dynamics that manifest during nodal oppositions would shine light on that.
Thank you so much for your response Ari!
Midway point in the cycle (around age 9, 28, 46, etc.). It’s a balancing act between your comfort zone (South Node) and your growth direction (North Node). Often brings choices that force you to reconcile past patterns with future growth
