Hi friends,
Just re-confirming the maximum orbs for Skipped Steps, as from what I learned and read it to be 10 degrees; but in one of our classes, I understood it to be 10 degrees separating or applying (instead of 5 to each side).
Example 1
Nodes in Libra/Aries 2 degrees
Jupiter 11 degrees Cancer
Example 2
Nodes in Pisces/Virgo - 8 degrees
Neptune in 17 degrees Sagitarrius
Would Jupiter and Neptune in these examples be considered skipped steps?
Thank you all!
Hi @Natasha I found this thread on the old message board that refers to your question:

In the first post Stephen quotes the same question asked from the older message board archives with Jeffrey’s answer:
Q: About orbs: When you say you use a ten degree orb for conjunctions, oppositions, squares and trines, do you mean ten degrees applying and ten degrees separating (totalling twenty).
Jeffrey: Yes.
Q: Or do you mean five applying and five separating?
Jeffrey: No
Q: This is a big difference. Is the orb the total of the applying and separating degrees, or just one or the other?
Jeffrey: Both.
